Its been awhile

So I am a huge slacker! Its been since October that I have updated the blog. Things have been a little hectic around here. Thanksgiving came and went, and was a great time. And then all of a sudden it was December! Time is definitely going a lot faster these days. As usual we were busy decorating, and gift shopping so that I could send them early enough to the mainland that it wouldn't cost an
arm and a leg. Randy was able to take a week leave and go home to visit his grandparents and meet the new addition to our family, our nephew
Jaron. That made me sad not to go with him, but after our big trip in October and my job being short staff, I stayed home. That way I could do shopping for Randy :o).

Christmas of course was great! Christmas Eve we went to the Sheraton Bowl where Hawaii was hosting Notre Dame. Of course I was cheering for the Irish, even though I was
wearing a Warrior T-shirt (I had to be safe). Randy and I both got a lot of amazing gifts from the family, so THANK YOU! After opening gifts and eating breakfast, we headed to the beach and worked on our tans. Its a hard life but somebody's gotta do, as my dad would say.

New Years Eve was great too. We stayed home, and grilled out with our neighbors. Thankfully the neighbors across the street know how to put on a fireworks' show, so we enjoyed that all night.

The holiday season was wonderful because Randy was on half day schedule, so we actually got to spend a lot of time together. Since its the new year, and he is back at work, its back to the usual. Things are going well with both our jobs, I actually got a raise (which is nice) and will be teaching some more swim classes.

I will try to keep this up to date a little more. I am hoping and praying for a lot of great things in 2009!

Arizona

So Randy and I went to Arizona for a much needed vacation. We were there for about 10 days, and had a blast. We spent some time with a good friend, Alex and his girlfriend. Made a trip to the Grand Canyon with my parents, Scott, Mel and their kids. It was unbelievable. As well as went to my cousins' amazing wedding. And tried out luck at the casino, and did pretty well.

Some how during all of that Randy managed to fit in 99 holes of golf. During which time I was enjoying the mall and TARGET!! (We don't have one in Hawaii, yet)
It was probably the best vacation we've had since our cruise last year!

I am only going to post a few pictures, due to the fact that we have 600!! If you want to see more, send me your email and I can send them to you through snapfish.

We hope this finds everyone healthy and happy!
Lots of love to all!!

We will be going to the Grand Canyon with my parents and Scott and his family. It will be lots of fun. So be on the look out for more pictures!

Hope this finds everyone doing well. Love to all!

Dogs

Here are few pictures of the dogs enjoying Hawaii. CoCo loves to lay in the grass and a get a tan, while Max just enjoys hanging in the shade in the cool grass.
There is also a picture of one of my hibiscus flowers. They only bloom once in a while so I figured I would capture it on film.

Randy and I are keeping busy with work and the dogs. Max just started doggie school and was recently fixed. We think he will be a quick learner.
I will be teaching my first swim lessons starting September 1st. I am a little nervous
but it will be fun to spend 2 hours everyday for 2 weeks in the water
with kids. Wish me luck!

Carina's Visit 2008

Randy's niece Carina came to visit during 4th of July. She was here for about 2 weeks, and we kept her going. Randy took her out in the Jeep to practice driving, and of course I took her shopping.  We took her to Dave and Busters a few times, and beat Randy is shuffle board. We also took her to Senor Frogs, which is kinda like a restaurant/club. It was a lot of fun, and even got balloon hats. For her birthday we took her on the North Shore Shark Adventure. Basically we were in a steel cage, surrounded by 30 sharks!! I wasn't looking forward to it, but it was definitely an amazing adventure. For the 4th we went to K-bay and saw Little Big Town and Rodney Adkins. It was a great concert, even with the little bit of rain we got. I was especially happy to have Randy home this year.
